In 2012 Ivona was the first Austrian woman competing at the olympic games in a heptathlon event ever.
In 2016 she was back again for her second olympic games and finished the competition with 6155.
In 2020 she qualified for her third olympic games in tokyo, where she scored 6.403 points.
